Notes - obituary, unknown paper "Mrs. Thomas Flynn. There passed peacefully away at her home near Erinsville, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed residents of this district in the person of Mrs. Thomas Flynn, on Monday, February 10. Mrs. Flynn, formerly Phoebe Ann O'Brien, was born near Cloyne, 83 years ago, only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jas. O'Brien. Most of her early life however was spent in Roblin, where her father was proprietor of a hotel. Deceased, always of a friendly and cheerful disposition, took a keen interest in those about her. She will long be remembered also for her musical ability, having conducted a class for some time. The floral and spiritual offerings at the time of her death, manifested the esteem in which she was held. Surviving to mourn her loss are her sorrowing husband, Mr. Thomas Flynn, five daughters and two sons. They are Miss Ruby Flynn, Erinsville, Mrs. George Quinn, Chippawa, Mrs. Ruby McGuire [sic], Erinsville, Mrs. Thomas Armstrong, Fort Frances, Mrs. Lillian Bland, Chippawa, Mr. John Flynn, Erinsville, and Mr. Edward Flynn, Kingston. One son, George, predeceased her in 1921, a daughter, Birdie, in early childhood and another son in infancy, Michael Joseph. Two brothers, John and James O'Brien predeceased her several years ago. The funeral was held on Thursday morning at the Church of the Assumption, Erinsville, with Messrs. E[d] Donohue, F[rank] Quinn, J[ack] McGrath, B[ernie] Kennedy, M[ichael] Turcott and E[d] Langevin as pallbearers. Interment will take place in the spring."
