    • The surname is frequently found as "Belworth" however John Bellworth (paterfamilias) used the spelling Bellworth.

      James and Margeret (Lewis) Belworth raised their children in Main a Dieu but by 1871 seem to have moved on to Cow Bay and Coxheath and eventually moved to Halifax.
