    • The specific relationship of John Casey and Thomas Casey is not known; he could be a brother or a son or even a cousin. They are the only two Caseys noted as being from Drangan Tipperary in the St. John's Basilica parish records during this time. There is also a Neil (O'Neil) family from Drangan appearing in the parish records at this time, perhaps cousins of the Caseys.
