      Glace Bay, Jan 11-death of Mrs. Patrick Casey, 82, mother of T.J. Casey, Halifax, Chief Inspector of Mines for the province, occurred at her home, 7 Berkley Street this afternoon, following a lengthy illness. A native of Glace Bay, Mrs. Casey was the daughter of Michael MacNeil and Annie MacLean, and resided for some years in Port Morien, later returning to Glace Bay where she since resided. A member of Holy Cross Parish she was well-known and highly respected. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Casey, three sons, Thomas J. Casey of the Mines Department, Halifax, John Casey at home and Joe Casey, Glace Bay, and three daughters, (Annie) Mrs. Dan Campbell, Bridgeport, (Frances) Mrs. Michael MacKinnon, Glace Bay, and Miss Mary Casey of the teaching staff of St. Anne's School. A brother, Michael McNeil resides in town. Funeral services will be held this afternoon. The funeral will leave the family home, 7 Berkley Street at 2:30 for service in Holy Cross Church at 2:45. Burial will be made in St. Anne's Cemetery.
