      "Many friends in Halifax and Sydney will learn with regret of the death of Mrs G H Hooper, resident of Halifax for many years, and daughter of the late Mr and Mrs George Boutilier, of Coxheath, which occurred in Roxbury, Mass., on Friday evening. Mrs Hooper is survived by one daughter, Mrs Wm. Marlin, of Roxbury; a son, Mr H L Hooper, of the Maritime Telephone and Telegraph, Sydney; four sisters, Mrs J A Andrews and Mrs Gregor, of Portland, Oregon; Mrs P K Barbour of Minneapolis, Mrs A D MacDonald, 532 Esplanade, Sydney; and two brothers, Wm. of Portland, Oregon and Hartley of Detroit.
