      "A well known resident of Newburgh, Dennis Joseph Hunt, passed away at the home of his youngest son, Gerald, last Saturday, September 10, following a lengthy illness. He had farmed in the Newburgh area until ill-health forced his retirement. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hunt, he was born at Cloyne, 76 years ago. his wife, the former Mary Jane Murphy, passed away in 1941. Surviving is a family of 10 sons and 3 daughters: Daniel Hunt, of Napanee; Vincent, of Kingston; Mrs. Ambrose Trudeau (Helena), of Tweed, Joseph, of Larimore, North Dakota; Dr. George Hunt, of Marlbank; Anthony, of Newburgh; Ambrose, of Tweed; Stafford, of Tamworth; Mrs. Charles Cassidy (Mary) of Tweed; Bernard, of Tweed; Mrs. Thomas Quigley (Reta), of Napanee; Dr. Dominic Hunt, of Marlbank; and Gerald, at home. An only sister, Mrs. Robert Armstrong (Nell), of Toronto, also remains, along with 56 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral took place on Monday, September 12, to St. Anthony's Church, Camden, of which he was a member....Interment was at Camden Cemetery. The pall-bearers were all neighbors of the deceased. Ross McKeown, James Kennelly, Leo Craigen, Michael Brady, Floyd Wales and Albert Dowdle."
