- Daniel Quinn (1864-1941) was married to Sarah BROUGHAN, a native of Sheffield Township (daughter of Richard Broughan and Janet Penny), in Erinsville. Sarah died in 1908. (no children from this marriage) He remarried Elizabeth REILLY in 1918. There were three children with Elizabeth- Marie, Margaret, and Vincent, all three remaining single.

"The Late Daniel Quinn. There passed away a well-known resident of this community in the person of Daniel Quinn. His death came as a shock to his many relatives and friends, who gathered around him to pay their last respects. Although in failing health, the late Mr. Quinn was overtaken by a stroke which resulted in his death. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and three children, Mary, a nurse-in-training at the Ontario Hospital, New Toronto, Margaret and Vincent, at home. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alexander Turcott of Tweed and Mrs. John Kearns of Erinsville, and one brother, Patrick Quinn, of Erinsville, as well as several nieces and nephews. The large cortege that followed the funeral procession, showed the high esteem in which deceased was held. He was seventy-six years of age, and a lifelong member of the Roman Catholic Church. The funeral mass was sung by the pastor, Rev. Father Powell, after which interment took place at White Lake Cemetery. The pall-bearers were Jas. Flynn, Michael Hopkins, Jas. Lynch, Vincent Lynch, James Connors and Patrick Gaffeny [sic]."
