"While visiting Sydney [in 1970], I met in the Cove (a very pleasant senior citizens' home) Mrs. Beatrice MacDonald, a lady of ninety-three years, whose father, a Boutilier, was a son of Nancy Peach, a sister to James Peach. She could remember that when she was a small girl the old man used to come to visit them in Sydney. He seemed very fond of her, and she thought of him as a wonderful person, very kind, who always brought her a present" Earle Peach, "Memories of a Cape Breton childhood" (Nimbus, Halifax, NS, 1990) p. 21
