    • Alexander Boutilier, a lifelong farmer, born "Sep. 12, 1874", son of "James Boutilier and Margaret Dingwall", died Feb 6, 1953 at Coxheath. (NS Civ Reg, Registration Year 1953 - Book: 1953 - Page: 1956). He married Margaret J. CAMERON (farmer Dougald and Margaret), 34, of Sydney Forks, native of East Bay, Sept. 9, 1908 at Sydney, Presbyterian. (NS Civ. Reg. Registration Year 1908 - Book 1805 - Page 280 - Number 220).

      On the 1901 Census, both Alexander and Maggie Cameron are enumerated with the family of Angus McLean in Balls Creek as "adopted"

      "A lifelong and esteemed resident fo the Coxheath district Alexander Boutilier, died last evening at the residence of his niece, Mrs Nelson MacKenzie. He was 78 years old and had been ill a week. The news of his passing will be learned with deep regret by a wide circle of friends in C.B. county. He was a well known and successful farmer in the Coxheath district and active in the agricultural and farmers associations, as well as the Blackett's Lake church congregation. A number of nieces and nephews in C.B. and U.S. survive. The remains are resting at the MacKenzie residence, Coxheath, and the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon.
