  • Notes
    • Baptized as Sarah Levesque. No father on the register. Baptism sponsors were Daniel Racine (son of Marc, assisted by his father) and [her aunt] Sarah Leveque of Frederic-Fontaine. Father's name omitted from register.

Sara Grange is "age 25" on the 1727 census of Etobon.

Sara Grange, "daughter of the late Pierre Grange" married Jean George Bouteiller in Etobon. The marriage record indicates that Sara was resident in Etobon at the time of the marriage. Possibly she moved there with (or to) a relative bearing a different surname, or was working as a house servant in the village.

Sara Grange was godmother to Daniel Plansson and Marguerite Boutheiller's son Jean Jacques Plansson April 25, 1720; this was three years before her marriage to Jean George Bouteillier. This suggests that Sara was already related to Daniel or Marguerite, by marriage or affinity if not by blood. For an additional relationship, see the notes page for Susanne "Marie Madeleine" Plançon.
