    • MATILDA ANNE "ANNIE" BELLWORTH was born at Main-à-Dieu February 27, 1852 and was baptized February 29, 1852 at St. George's Sydney. Known as Annie, she was married 27 March 1880 in Halifax, Nova Scotia by license to groom William HOOPER, an Englishman, [Nova Scotia civil registration, 1880 - Book: 1817 - Page: 43 - Number: 82] following the birth of a child, Clara (aka Eliza) Bellworth, out of wedlock in 1877 (reg yr 1877/bk 1811/p. 229/no. 18520). Annie died February 8, 1892 resident at 97 Jubilee Road Halifax of phthisis and was buried at Camp Hill cemetery February 9.
