Thomas Wilcox of Mainadieu, trader, buys part of a fishing lot from James Kavanaugh and his wife Ann of Halifax for 50 pounds, that part that was not sold to Charles Mortell [sic], lately occupied by Mr. Andrew Kennedy of Louisbourg, adjacent to the fishing lot of John Nearing.

Petition to Despard: Asks permission to occupy a tract of land on the south-west side of the Harbour of Manadieu. The front was formerly a "fishing room" but has been vacant for sixteen to seventeen years.

Petition to Ainslie: Petitioner occupies the estate of the late Richard Lacy, his father-in-law, at Main a Dieu, and supports the widow of Lacy, now 97 years old. He asks that he may continue to hold the land as long as he supports the widow.
