      Petition to Swayne, 1813: Petitioner was born at Bona Vesta, Newfoundland, is married and has six children. He served eight years in the Nova Scotia Regiment. In 1811 he received a grant of land, but as it was unfit for cultivation he asks to exchange it for a lot at Cow Bay. Petition to Nepean, 1809: Asks for a lot at Cow Bay. Report of Crawley to Ward, 1818: 200 acres near Cow Bay. Plan.
