Informant of Death was Robert Hoy of Craigs (GRO Death cert, Robert Hoy, year 1864, Ballymena Reg Dist, vol 16 p. 92, FHL Film #101,623)
Tradition of Robert Hoy's grandson James [son of Robert] Ho(e)y's family was that the Hoys had come from Clatteryknowes Townland, Glenwhirry; this is consistent with Robert Hoy's granddaughter Margaret Hoy's writing, that the Hoys were from "around Moorfields."
There are NO Hoys or Hoeys in Craigs Townland's surviving tithe applotment books. PRONI
