      65, of Paramus formerly of Rochelle Park died Friday, August 24, 2007 after a year long courageous fight against cancer with his son-in-law Louis at his side. Jim was a self-employed builder. He was a member of the Restored Rusty Relics and Class Glass Corvette Club. Jim graduated from Hackensack High School in 1959 after attending many New Jersey thru California Schools. He was a race car driver and recently a Harley Davidson collector and rider (Member of Hogs). He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Rochelle Park. Devoted father of Michele Sciarrino and her husband Louis and Lori Deas and her husband Thomas. Loving grandfather of Jillian, Tommy and Jordan Deas, Danielle and Natalie Sciarrino.
      Adored son of Evelyn (nee Discepola) Tyson. Dear brother of Patricia Mellen and her husband Ronald. Many loving nieces and nephews. He is survived by his former wife and friend Joyce, as well as a multitude of friends. To know him is to love him. Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday from Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S113 Farview Avenue, Paramus and 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church.
      Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Family will receive their friends Monday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jim’s name to The Cancer Center of Hackensack University Medical Center, 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
