"Michael Craigen. After an illness of two months, Michael Craigen died at his home, near Newburgh, on Tuesday of this week, August 7th. The late Mr. Craigen, who had lived for many years at Newburgh, where he was a prosperous farmer, was born 72 years ago at Cloyne, and was a son of the late Dennis Craigen and Mary Kennelly. He was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Centerville and a member of the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his wife, six sons, Leo and Vincent, at home; Michael, in Detroit; George, in Kingston; Anthony, at Tweed; and Joseph, in Sudbury; and by five daughters, Mrs. Bert Beach, Napanee; Mrs. Fred Rashotte, Tweed; Mrs. William Buffan, Rochester, N.Y.; Mrs. Geo. Walsh, Fresno, California, and Miss Theresa, at home. His funeral will be conducted at St. Anthony's Church, Centreville, on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. The bearers will be the late Mr. Craigen's six sons."
