      Petition to Nepean: Petitioner, age 35, born in Prince Edward Island, is married and has four children. He received land four years before, but was forced to resign his title to clear debts in which he became involved. He asks a lot on Googooma River in the Bras d'Or Lake. Note: complied with.

      Petition to Ainslie: Petitioner, age 41, was born in Prince Edward Island, has lived in Cape Breton 22 years. He is married and has six children. He wishes to build a grist-mill, and asks the usual assistance, and a lot on the Big Pond on the S.E. side of St. Andrew's Channel, about fifteen miles below the head of the arm.
