Petition to Nepean: Petitioner, age 35, born in Prince Edward Island, is married and has four children. He received land four years before, but was forced to resign his title to clear debts in which he became involved. He asks a lot on Googooma River in the Bras d'Or Lake. Note: complied with.

Petition to Ainslie: Petitioner, age 41, was born in Prince Edward Island, has lived in Cape Breton 22 years. He is married and has six children. He wishes to build a grist-mill, and asks the usual assistance, and a lot on the Big Pond on the S.E. side of St. Andrew's Channel, about fifteen miles below the head of the arm. Petition to Kempt: Petitioner, a native of Canada, has resided in Cape Breton since his childhood. He is 22 years old, is married and has one child. He asks lot 25, second range, Great Judique. This was originally leased to Donald McInnes who sold the land to William Campbell about twenty years ago. Campbell now lives in Upper Canada, and has left no one in possession of the land. Affidavit of Donald Gillies and John McEachern to the truth of the foregoing. Not: cannot be acceded to. Escheat
