The son of Edith Guattery and the late David Decker, he was born July 31, 1944 in Middletown. Survivors include his wife Eileen Kearney Decker at home; one daughter, Eileen Maisonet and husband Nelson of Wallkill; two grandchildren Nicholas Hirn and Erica Maisonet; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, May 11 at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 12 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden.
